This Super Easy, healthy Guacamole is sure to be a hit with your friends and family, and the BEST part will be because it's YOUR recipe. There isn't a Wrong Way to make guacamole. You just have to start with avocados, and the rest is up to you. Just be sure to give yourself time. The avocados at the store are typically still pretty hard and will require a day or two to soften up. However, once they reach that point where they are just starting to "give" under a little pressure, that's when you need to make the guacamole. Once it hits this point, it quickly goes from "ripe" to "over-ripe".
DIRECTIONS FOR MAKING GUACAMOLE: Start with avocados that are starting to be soft to the touch, but not too soft.
1 After cutting open the avocados, place them into a bowl and mash with a potato masher or a fork.
2 Prepare ingredients to add to the mashed avocados, such as: Cut up tomatoes Cut up onions salt Lemon or Lime juice chili powder garlic salt cilantro jalapeños cubed fruit like mangos or peaches
3 Blend ingredients in with the mashed avocados 4 SERVE right away for best color and taste
