Perfect Omelet | Endless Mealtime Possibilities

When you know how to make an omelet, you know how to make endless possible meals. The humble omelet is only limited by what ingredients you have on hand. It can also be the perfect Keto meal. Whether you fold the omelet in the traditional manner, or serve it "open face", the omelet just might be the Perfect Meal. Oh....and it's also a great way to teach a child to cook.

Omelet Recipe

3 eggs

whipped cream optional, but a nice added touch

butter

left overs from previous meals or odds and ends from the fridge

cheese just about any variety

Directions

1 preheat a pan over low heat heat

2 break open eggs into a bowl and add a shot of whipped cream

3 whisk the eggs and whipped cream together

4 melt enough butter to cover the bottom of pan and pour the eggs into the preheated pan and cover

5 when the eggs start to become solid on the bottom, add the ingredients of your choice, but leave a line across the middle free of ingredients so that you can fold over the omelet when it is done

6 when you see a film starting to cover the top of the eggs, add a generous portion of cheese to the omelet, put the cover back on and turn off the heat.

7 When the cheese is starting to appear like its melting, slide the omelet onto a plate and fold it over the ingredients
